Description
Timpani Forces is a four-movement work for solo timpani commissioned by David Constantine, percussionist of the President’s Own Marine Band, who requested that I write him solo timpani literature that placed more emphasis on melodic and lyrical content over percussive and rhythmic virtuosity.
