So i created three g+ accounts and had each join the same hangout with three computers in the same room all with webcams and a microphone, and yeah, the concept worked like a charm. All i had to do was snap my fingers a bunch and all of the cams would be switching back and forth pretty randomly.
Today Google announced a new feature of google hangouts where an existing hangout can call a telephone number and include them in the hangout. i’m not sure what sort of limitations there are in terms of number of phone calls or whatnot, but this has some further interesting potential for live performance art that is …
